The Ehlers-Danlos Society would like to invite you to the 2017 Ehlers-Danlos Society Global Learning Conference, September 7–9 at Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas (3645 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV).

  • Adult Registration includes general admission to all sessions; regular registration is $349, available July 7–August 28. (Does not include the Zebra Ball on Friday, September 8.)
  • Junior Zebra Registration of $175 (for ages 5–15) includes admission to all Junior Zebra sessions and activities. (Zebra Ball admission sold separately.)
  • Included: Thursday opening reception, Friday lunch and two networking refreshment breaks, Saturday lunch and two networking refreshment breaks
  • Not included: Zebra Ball at 6:30 pm on Friday, Sept 9 (separate registration fee required).

Conference scholarship application closed

Thanks to the generosity of donors, The Ehlers-Danlos Society will be granting a limited number of full-conference registration scholarships based on demonstrated need. The application process is closed. Final decisions and notifications will be made the week of June 26. Those who applied but are not provided with a scholarship will be able to register at the Early-Bird rate until July 14. You will be notified directly of acceptance by email.

Information about Las Vegas

Transit Information

RTC Transit is a public transportation system providing bus service throughout Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas and other areas of the valley. Inter-city bus service to and from Las Vegas is provided by Greyhound, BoltBus, Orange Belt Stages, Tufesa, and several smaller carriers.

Though no Amtrak trains have served Las Vegas since the Desert Wind was cancelled in 1997, Amtrak California operates Thruway Motorcoach dedicated service between the city and its passenger rail stations in Bakersfield, California, as well as Los Angeles Union Station via Barstow.

A bus rapid-transit link in Las Vegas called the Strip & Downtown Express with limited stops and frequent service was launched in March 2010, and connects downtown Las Vegas, the Strip and the Las Vegas Convention Center.


McCarran International Airport (LAS) is the primary commercial airport serving the Las Vegas Valley. It is located in Paradise, about 5 miles (8.0 km) south of downtown Las Vegas.

RTC Transit provides bus transportation to and from various parts of the Las Vegas Valley. Route 108, Route 109, the Westcliff Airport Express and the Centennial Express provide direct access to the airport. Buses depart from Level 0 of Terminal 1 and Level 2 of Terminal 3.

Registration Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be received by The Ehlers-Danlos Society headquarters on or before Thursday, August 24, 2017, and will result in a refund of fees paid less a $50.00 processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after Thursday, August 24. Cancellation requests must be made in writing, sent via email to info@ehlers-danlos.com.
